American Crime centers on a racially charged murder the subsequent trial, which are examined through the personal lives of the people involved in the crime. The case gets bigger and bigger, becoming a point of conversation in America’s views on race, class and gender politics.
The series is written and executive produced by Oscar Winning Screenplay writer John Ridley.

AUSTIN, TX Casting Notice – ABC Television Pilot “American Crime” for work on MONDAY 3/10/14.Pay rate is $58.00 for 8 hours plus overtime paid after 8 hours (if necessary). Will get a bump use of vehicle.
MUST have proof of Texas Residency in the form of a Texas DL or ID, Texas College ID or Texas Voter’s Registration Card.
We obviously do NOT have Call Times yet so it could be a VERY early morning start and/or could possibly shoot late into the evening/night. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times ends up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!
