ABC Mini-Series Casting Call for Lead Roles

Casting directors are now casting lead roles for an upcoming documentary mini-series for ABC News in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Producers are casting the following roles:

1. [ANTHONY] 45 to 55 years old, Black/African American male. Julius’ dad, strict and God-fearing.Powerfully-built former athlete, now showing signs of age. Grey hair is a plus.
2. [MADELINE] 45 to 55 years old, Black/African American female. Julius’ mom, strict and God-fearing. Heavier build.
3. [ANTONIO] 18 to 25 years old, Black/African American male. Julius’ older and very close brother. 5’11” -6’1″, built like a high school or college football player.
4. [BRENDA PAST] – 25-35 years old Black/African American female. Slender build.
5. [BRENDA PRESENT] 45-55 years old Black/African American female. Slender build.
6. [SCOTTY] 14-16 years old Black/African American male.
7. [DETECTIVE F] 30-45 years old Caucasian male.
8. [DETECTIVE T] 35-45 years old Caucasian male. Mustache. Average build.
9. [POLICE OFFICER D] 25-40 years old Caucasian male. Sandy blonde hair.

About the 4%:

This six part event series on ABC explores the cases of two death row inmates. It will be an emotional, in-depth examination of the merits of their cases and the details of their stories. In the tradition of The Thin Blue Line and Serial, we will look at these cases from all angles, teasing out the truth. FOUR PERCENT will use dramatic verite, simple, elegant interviews, and curated, emotionally charged imagery to create two gripping documentaries that travel far beyond mere investigative timelines and lists of facts or evidence.
