ABC ‘American Crime’ Extras Casting Call for Talent to work on an Court Room Scene in Austin, Texas
Casting directors are now casting extras for a court room scene.
American Crime centers on a racially charged murder the subsequent trial, which are examined through the personal lives of the people involved in the crime. The case gets bigger and bigger, becoming a point of conversation in America’s views on race, class and gender politics. The series is written and executive produced by Oscar Winning Screenplay writer John Ridley.
On Location Casting is looking for extras to play court reporters and stenographers in an upcoming scene filming on Monday, August 4th in Austin, Texas. Talents that are selected will be compensated $58.00 for 8 hours ($7.25/hour with an 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours.

AUSTIN, TX Casting Notice – ABC series ‘American Crime’ for work on MONDAY 8/4/14.
*MUST HAVE PROOF of TEXAS RESIDENCY such as TXDL, TXID, TEXAS COLLEGE ID, OR TX Voters registration card
Pay rate for EXTRAS is $58.00 for 8 hours ($7.25/hour with an 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail 7-10 business days AFTER you work.
We do NOT have any Call Times yet so you would need to be available ALL DAY/evening. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times ends up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!
Location is in the AUSTIN, TX area.
*EXTRAS*:
COURT REPORTER/STENOGRAPHER with machine: male or female, all ethnicities, age range 21-65, should have REAL experience working as a Court Reporter/Stenographer and have your own stenographer machine. We will pay an additional $200 for use of your stenographer machine.
