DreamWorks Pictures is now casting roles for their new live-action movie, ‘A Dog’s Purpose’.
‘A Dog’s Purpose’ is an upcoming live-action family movie based on W. Bruce Cameron’s New York Times bestselling novel, ‘A Dog’s Purpose’. “A Dog’s Purpose” centers around the remarkable story of one endearing dog’s search for his purpose over the course of several lives. More than just another charming dog story, A Dog’s Purpose touches on the universal quest for an answer to life’s most basic question: Why are we here?
‘A Dog’s Purpose’ features Dennis Quaid, Peggy Lipton and Britt Robertson.
An open casting call was recently scheduled for ‘A Dog’s Purpose’ for men and women of all ages and talent experience.
According to reports, ‘A Dog’s Purpose’ will be hiring 1000s of extras and producers are also looking for extras to fill other small featured roles as well.
Filming for the new DreamWorks movie will start filming in Winnepeg, Canada starting this August and will continue filming through October.
Casting directors are looking for “wholesome, friendly-looking people, both male and female, of all ages and ethnic background to play as regular town folk, students, families, moms, dads, kids, grandmas, and grandpas.”
All roles are paid and extras hired for the roles will make $11.75 an hour. Most extras are expected to work at least one day on set. Some roles, such as stand-ins may require a longer comittment. No previous acting experience is required. To apply visit www.karicasting.com
