An upcoming pet store commercial is now casting and holding auditions for actors with pets in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on August 10th through the 16th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- -DAD WHO IS BAKING – AGES 35-40. CAUCASIAN. No Baking experience necessaray. Must own Small Dog or Puppy. Dog Action Required: Dog takes toy and comes when called.
- – REAL CHILD OF BAKING DAD – AGES 2-12. BI-RACIAL. Must be REAL child of the Dad role listed above. Kids should be Outgoing and able to take direction and Love pets!
- – PICNIC COUPLE – AGES 25-30. CAUCASIAN. REAL COUPLE! Must own 1-3 Dogs. Dog Action Required: Dogs are friendly, playful and like treats.
- – COUPLE LOOKING IN FRIDGE – AGES 25-30. ANY ETHNICITY. REAL COUPLE! Must be ok with cats but not required to own one. Production will have a trained cat on set for this scene.
- -FEMALES WITH DOG – AGES 28-35. ANY ETHNICITY. Two women who live together and are Partners, Roommates or Sisters. Must own a Dog or Puppy.
Dog Action Required: Needs to be comfortable in a new space and likes treats. - -PATIO FAMILY –MOM AND DAD ages 35-40 with 2-3 kids AGES 2-12 years old. ANY ETHNICITY. REAL FAMILIES! MUST own a Dog. Bonus if you also have a bird, reptile, rabbit or hamster. Dog Action Required: Likes to eat
- -OLDER COUPLE WITH DOGS –AGES 50-60. ANY ETHNICITY. REAL COUPLE! Must own 2+ Dogs. Dog Action Required: All of the Dogs must walk well as a unit while leashed. Able to hold onto a bone/antler while walking.
- -WOMAN IN RAIN WALKING DOG – AGES 25-30. DIVERSE (African American, Bi-Racial, Asian, Latinx, Middle Eastern, Native American, etc.). Must own a small Dog, Preferably shaggy such as a Shih-Tzu, King Charles Spaniel, Yorkie, etc. Dog Action Required: Dog must be able to walk in the rain, wearing booties and rain gear.
- -BEACH COUPLE – AGES 26-35. ANY ETHNICITY. REAL COUPLE! Hipster Vibe. Must own 1-3 Dogs. If they have a child between the ages of 2-12 years old they should submit too but not a requirement! Dog Action Required: Dogs must be active, love chasing after toys, ok with Beach (Off-leash obedient)
- -HIPSTER GUY WITH KITTEN – AGES 25-30. ANY ETHNICITY. Brooklyn vibe. Tattoos are great! Must own a Kitten. Cat Action Required: Has to be tolerable of being held in a sling/bag on the guy’s chest as he carries it around. Likes treats.
- -PETITE WOMAN WITH BIG DOG – AGES 28-34. CAUCASIAN Blonde or Brunette. Petite in stature to contrast with her large dog. She’s fashionable but relatable. Must own a large Dog such as a Mastiff, Great Dane, Akita, etc. Dog Action Required: Dog must walk on a leash ahead of the woman. Run when called.

Films August 10th-16th in the Pittsburgh or Erie area. Talent will only be needed one of these days. Pays $3500 per Adult and $3000 per Kid plus $250 for your pet(s)!
Lots of details on this one so PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE ROLES BEFORE SUBMITTING AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU FIT THE DESCRIPTION! READ THROUGH ALL THE SUBMIT DIRECTIONS VERY CAREFULLY. We need to have all requested pictures and information in order to submit you for consideration. ALL SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE BY TUESDAY, JULY 21ST AT 10:00AM.
**TALENT MUST LIVE IN PENNSYLVANIA OR OHIO TO SUBMIT. All talent will be required to sign a Covid waiver, if cast. On-set protocols will be taken to limit exposure. If talent has pet allergies, they should pass on this project.
**If Talent lives in the Pittsburgh or Erie area and are open to having Production film in their house, Production would pay a $500 house rental fee plus cleaning before and after. THIS IS NOT A REQUIREMENT IF YOU AREN’T COMFORTABLE WITH CREW BEING IN YOUR HOME.
**IMPORTANT PET NOTE: Trained Pets preferred but not required. All pets must be well-behaved, have no history of aggression or attacks on humans or other animals and MUST be up-to-date on all vaccinations. Production will
require proof of vaccinations from your vet, if cast.
Everyone is REAL so no one should submit individually unless the role calls for it meaning that we will NOT be mixing and matching couples or families. They must be REAL couples or families. All kids should belong to parents who are submitting for appropriate roles. The only exception is that it’s not required that the Beach Couple have a child to submit.
