The series focuses on conversations between a manager and their subordinate, highlighting positive and negative management behaviors. It’s an excellent platform for actors to showcase their range, diving into the intricate world of workplace dynamics.

Roles Up for Grabs:

  • LEAD – Managers (“Steve”): The project requires one male and one female actor to play principal speaking roles as managers, named “Steve”. These characters are pivotal, and the actors must be skilled in depicting a variety of managerial styles.
  • SUPPORTING – Subordinate/Direct Report (“Sheila”): Also principal speaking roles, these characters interact with their managers. One male and one female actor are needed to portray employees in various scenarios, showing diverse reactions to different management approaches.

Diversity Embraced:

The casting call is open to actors of any ethnicity, emphasizing the need for a diverse representation that reflects the real corporate world.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the director and production team to understand the character and the video’s goals.

Project Overview: We are creating a series of short corporate training videos (30-60 seconds each) focused on the dos and don’ts of effective management. Each scenario will depict a conversation between a manager and their subordinate, aiming to illustrate positive and negative management behaviors.

Roles:

  1. LEAD – Managers (“Steve”): Principal speaking roles. We are seeking one male and one female actor, each portraying a different manager. Candidates should have strong acting experience and be adept at conveying a range of managerial styles and scenarios.
  2. SUPPORTING – Subordinate/Direct Report (“Sheila”): Principal speaking roles. We are seeking one male and one female actor to represent employees in various interactions with their managers. Actors should be able to express a range of responses to managerial behaviors.

Any Ethnicity: We are looking for a diverse cast and welcome applicants of any ethnicity.
