Crystal Brooks

Crystal Johnelle Brooks, was born on November 3, 1991 in Eunice, Louisiana. She has obtained a Bachelor’s degree at Northwestern State University; with a minor in dance. Crystal started dance training at the age of six, learning African, praise, and tap dance. Not long after, she began learning jazz and ballet technique by the age of twelve. In high school, she performed dance line for four years. Her acting career started naturally, where she would create storylines in the bathroom mirror. In college, she performed in dance theatre learning ballet, contemporary, lyrical, and modern dance. She became the NSU Demon Dazzlers 2014-15 co-captain after one year. During that time, she also began instructing dance technique to the youth and choreographing for dance competitions. After spending time learning in the theatre, she started working in the film industry in Louisiana. Where she works many times behind and in front of the scenes in movies, tv shows, and commercials. She teaches dance at her own dance studio, performing for the community and competing at dance competitions. Crystal has trained dancers with the skills to succeed dance auditions with a 100% success rate. Crystal has the gift of rhythm and movement in dance and enjoys the works of storytelling in film.
