Megan Ryte

Megan Ryte is a multi-hyphenate artist —boasting a 15 year career working in the live event space as a DJ, music artist, radio and television personality, journalist, writer, and actress. Currently, Megan is a Correspondent for Good Morning America, Nightline’s IMPACT on HULU, and ABC News. She also served as a Correspondent on the nationally syndicated show EXTRA TV (seasons 25, 29, and 30) and has interviewed the biggest names in music, Hollywood, and sports. In addition, Ryte has a weekly segment on ABCNL titled, “The Drop,” where she breaks down the hottest news in music. Working in the documentary space, Ryte currently has the highest rated episode of Nightline’s IMPACT on HULU titled: The Anatomy of ‘Scandoval’ which takes a deep look inside society’s obsession with reality stars. Another popular episode features Ryte spending 72 hours with music legend Lil Wayne in his hometown of New Orleans. Before becoming a respected veteran in the music industry, Ryte began her steady rise as an ambitious teenager spinning at parties in Hampton, Virginia. Soon after, she worked her way through multiple markets including Miami, DC, Philadelphia, Houston, and NYC. To date she’s been on stages all over the world, and has been a part of well over 1000 events. Some of her favorites include Zepp Divercity in Tokyo, Philadelphia’s Made in America Festival, and the New York Knicks opening game at Madison Square Garden.
