Mia’Schanycia Wiggins is a U.S. based actress, writer, and producer with a dynamic background in film, television, and theater. With a foundation in classical performance and on-camera training, Mia brings emotional depth, authenticity, and range to every role she embodies.
She has appeared in acclaimed projects including Summer of Justice (Sundance Film Festival), Love Me Love Me Not, The Chosen, and Life of Diana Ross, where she held a principal role. Her performance experience spans independent film, network television, and stage productions such as Hamlet and Whitney the Musical, where she portrayed Young Whitney.
A graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Mia has trained with Stephen F. Austin State University, KD Studios Actors Conservatory, the Black Academy of Arts and Letters, and other respected institutions. Her training includes voice, movement, improvisation, and dance, allowing her to seamlessly move between dramatic and character-driven roles.
Beyond acting, Mia is also a songwriter and screenwriter with production experience, bringing a well-rounded creative perspective to every project. She is passionate about storytelling that reflects truth, diversity, and empowerment, and she continues to seek roles that challenge, inspire, and leave a lasting impact.
