About:
Art has always been part of my life and transitioned into a deep passion since a kid. It’s what propelled me to get into other areas within the art world allowing me to evolve into a wholesome artist.
Hip hop and Afro music changed my outlook on life itself. I surrounded with so much drugs, guns, and gang violence in my neighborhood,
that it made me feel trapped. Growing up in Harlem, and being a product of a Senegalese immigrant household, the different culture dynamics shaped and influenced my sound early. I fell in love with boom bat, conscious rap, to r and b, trap, and drill.
I started to freelance model at the start of 2016 in high school, and ever since it’s been a form of therapy. Not only was it helping me build confidence, but it became a medium that support my personal works within the music and art industry, infusing them as part of my branding as an artist. In 2020, I was casted for the movie “Black is King”. It was a blessing to have my voice debut on her first official trailer in the movie. I stated that, “I feel like I’m not a king…yet, but I got potential for it, just not 100% yet”. Those words in the clip still stand with me to this day and motivated me to keep striving.
Since then, I’ve built character, maturity, and discipline pushing to get to the next level by remaining persistent and being a student.
