Casting Call for Charity Film TV Commercial – Supporting PTSD Awareness
Job Description: We are casting for a commercial film (TVC) for a charity that supports individuals suffering from PTSD. This project aims to raise awareness and provide support for those affected by PTSD, particularly focusing on war veterans and their families. We welcome both professional actors and individuals with little or no acting experience. We are especially interested in hearing from men who have personally experienced PTSD or are war veterans/ex-military.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray non-speaking roles in the commercial.
- Follow directions from the director and production team to authentically represent the characters.
- Contribute to creating a powerful and empathetic portrayal of the challenges faced by those living with PTSD.
Roles:
- Father (40s): An Iraq war veteran living with PTSD.
- Son (aged 8-10): Tom, a boy with distinctive features, large expressive eyes, and a characterful face.
Requirements:
- Applicants must be London-based.
- Willingness to participate in a non-speaking role.
- Ability to convey emotions and authenticity through expressions and body language.
- Men who have suffered from PTSD or are war veterans/ex-military are highly encouraged to apply.
Compensation Details:
