Alex Phipps

Alex has been a performer since age three, acting, singing, and dancing. In high school in South Florida, she was always the lead in the musicals (her favorite was Carlotta in Phantom of the Opera) and was heavily involved in the improv and sketch groups on campus. At Hofstra University Alex went on to study Opera and was the lead in several productions. After college, Alex went on to pursue Stand-Up comedy, improv, and comedy writing. She worked on Showtime's Ziwe successfully getting several pitches to air as well as Season 2 of Survival of The Thickest on Netflix. Now based in LA, Alex spends her time on the Groundling's stage and performing stand-up while incorporating her powerful singing voice into her routines. When she's not on stage or on set, Alex loves to do Yoga while her dog sits in the middle of the mat.
