About Rifco Theatre Company: Rifco Theatre Company is one of the UK’s premier touring theatre companies, known for producing vibrant, accessible, and ambitious new plays and musicals that celebrate British South Asian experiences. Following the success of “Britain’s Got Bhangra,” Rifco is now launching the world premiere of “Frankie Goes to Bollywood,” a new British musical inspired by the dazzling world of Bollywood and real stories of British women in the film industry.
Job Details: We are seeking highly skilled female presenting ensemble members to join the upcoming UK tour of “Frankie Goes to Bollywood.” This role requires performers with strong dance ability and the capability to embody and express the rich and dynamic characters of Bollywood.
Responsibilities:
- Perform in various ensemble roles throughout the tour
- Participate in all scheduled rehearsals and performances
- Work closely with the director, choreographer, and fellow cast members to develop performances
- Maintain the integrity and energy of the performance throughout the tour period
Requirements:
- Strong dance skills with a background in Asian/Indian dance styles preferred
- Experience in ensemble work in theatre productions
- Ability to express emotion and character through movement and dance
- Professional demeanor and a collaborative spirit
- Willingness to tour and maintain performance quality throughout the tour duration
Compensation:
- £526.34 per week
- MRSL + 5% plus touring allowance
