Job Description: We are excited to announce an open casting call for real musicians to portray members of two distinct bands in an upcoming film production. Musicians will be expected to perform while playing along to a pre-recorded track. This is a fantastic opportunity for musicians who are looking to gain experience in the film industry, enhance their portfolios, and perform in a unique setting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform instrumental music as part of a band during film production scenes.
- Play along accurately with pre-recorded tracks during filming.
- Participate in any necessary rehearsals prior to the filming date.
- Maintain professional demeanor and performance under the direction of the film crew.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in the designated instrument(s).
- Previous experience in band settings preferred, but not required.
- Ability to take direction and adapt quickly in a dynamic filming environment.
- Must be available on the specified filming dates without any scheduling conflicts.
Instruments Needed and Filming Dates:
Band 1: Gemstones Satellite Church Band
- Filming Date: Friday, May 31
- Instruments Required: Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Drums, Electric Bass, Piano/Organ, Pedal Steel
Band 2: Tavern Band
- Filming Date: Tuesday, June 4
- Instruments Required: Piano (high proficiency required), Drums, Electric Bass, Electric Guitar
