Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and dynamic London-based poet or spoken word artist, aged between 25 to 35, to craft and perform an original poem that showcases their personal style and voice. This unique opportunity is part of the ‘Where London Life Happens’ campaign, designed to capture the essence and vibrancy of London through its local voices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Write an original poem or spoken word piece that reflects the theme ‘Where London Life Happens.’
- Perform the piece in a live-action video across various iconic London locations.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure the artistic vision aligns with the campaign’s goals.
- Participate in promotional activities related to the campaign as required.
Requirements:
- Must be based in London and aged 25-35 years.
- Strong background in poetry or spoken word, with an ability to write compelling and engaging content.
- Must identify as a ‘true Londoner’ and have a genuine story or connection to the city that can be expressed creatively.
- Comfortable performing in front of a camera and able to convey emotion and authenticity through spoken word.
- Available to shoot on the specified date and flexible with location shoots around London.
Compensation:
- £500 for participation on the shooting date.
- £500 for writing the original poem.
- £2000 buyout for campaign use, primarily on YouTube followed by a short run on social media platforms.
- Total Compensation: £3000.
