Casting Call: Home Location Needed for Indie Feature Film
Job Details:
We are in immediate need of a home to serve as a filming location for an upcoming independent feature film. The production is set to take place in the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs. The selected location will be needed for several consecutive days to accommodate our filming schedule.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide access to your home for the duration of the film shoot.
- Be flexible with scheduling and accessible for location scouts and production crew prior to and during the shoot.
- Coordinate with the production team to facilitate necessary preparations for filming, including moving furniture or adjusting room layouts as agreed upon in advance.
- Ensure that any specific requirements or restrictions regarding the property use are communicated clearly and in advance.
Requirements:
- The home should ideally represent an average family house, and must be in good condition.
- Locations within the Chicagoland area and its surrounding suburbs are preferred.
- Homeowners must be willing to allow interior and exterior access to the film crew and cast.
- Applicants must have full control over the property and the authority to make decisions regarding its use for filming purposes.
- All homeowners must sign a location agreement which will cover liability and property protection details; full production insurance is provided by the production company.
Compensation:
- The homeowner will receive a flat fee of $3,500 for the use of the home. Payment terms will be specified in the location agreement, typically issued upon final agreement of the filming schedule and requirements.
