About:
Alyshia Sheree Harper, MA, is a freelance performer, choreographer, teaching artist, and proud member of Actors’ Equity Association. She is a wife and mother who enjoys spreading joy, love, laughter, and all things creative and educational!  Alyshia Sheree began her dance training at Shoals Dance Academy in Florence, AL before going on to earn a BA in Dance from The University of Alabama and a MA in Dance and Studio Related Studies from Florida State University. While pursuing her MA, she interned as a Group Sales Representative and served as an Ambassador for The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York City. She also danced with Jazz Roots Dance Company under Artistic Director Sue Samuels. Upon receiving her Master’s degree, she became an Equity dancer with the Walt Disney Company in Orlando, FL. A few of her Disney performance credits include Beauty and the Beast Live On-Stage (Swing Performer); Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular (Dance Captain); Villains Mix and Mingle, A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas; Harambe Nights: The Lion King Concert in the Wild (Featured Dancer: Nala); and Disney’s Christmas Day Parades. In 2011 she acquired a stunt double role for a lead actress in the ABC Television series remake of Charlie’s Angels. Upon returning to Disney full time, she became an inaugural member of ME Dance Company under the direction of Marshall Ellis in addition to resuming her full-time performance responsibilities. Most recently, she had the pleasure of performing at The Black Music Honors alongside The Jacksons and is currently a company member with Alabama based dance company INNERGY, Inc.
