Penny Dreadful: City of Angels is now casting dancers in Los Angeles, California.
Casting directors are holding a casting search for dancers to work and appear in Showtime’s “Penny Dreadful: City of Angels”, which is produced by John Logan & Michael Aguilar and choreographed by Tommy Tonge. Filming will shoot between October 9, 2019, and November 13, 2019, in Los Angeles, California.
Producers are seeking the following:
- Dancers, Late Teens – Mid 20s, and Mid 30s – Mid 60s
- Any ethnicity, open to all body types and sizes.
- Seeking excellent dancers with strong jazz, latin and swing experience required. Must be highly experienced in partnering. Slick and powerful energy. Must have personality and exuberance. These are Pachuco dancers in the 1930s.
- Must be LA local hires
Auditions will be on June 26th and June 27th in Los Angeles, California.

Penny Dreadful: City of Angels is a sequel to the Showtime original horror-drama. According to reports, the series – which comes from Penny Dreadful creator John Logan – will be set in 1930s Los Angeles, “a time and place deeply infused with social and political tension.” “Game of Thrones” actress Natalie Dormer is set for a lead role opposite Daniel Zovatto.
