Cladia Thrasher

Cladia Thrasher grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and began her dance training at age 3, attending daily ballet classes at her preschool’s afternoon dance program. Throughout her childhood, she grew fond of the arts and trained in many different art forms including dance, acting, and visual art. In 2014, she began to further her dance education at Triple 7 Dance Company, where she was a part of the competition team and performed locally and nationally. Her training consisted of ballet, jazz, modern, tap, and hip hop. Upon graduating high school in 2018, she was accepted into the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. During her enrollment at UNCSA, she has had the opportunity to perform works by Juel Lane, Ashley Lindsey, Jose Limon, Alex Brady, Ming-Lung Yang, Merce Cunningham, Kira Blazek-Ziaii, and Yoshito Sakuraba. She recently graduated from the university and received her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in contemporary dance. Cladia is passionate about multidisciplinary collaboration where she can explore other art mediums, which is something she wants to build on in her future career as a choreographer and performer.
