Casting directors are now casting lead roles in the upcoming feature film “Chasing Grace”.
Chasing Grace is a family film that explores the redemptive power of forgiveness. It’s a film that promises to merge two genres: Family & Thriller. It could possibly change the way you see “faith-based films.”
Filming is scheduled to take place in Charlotte, North Carolina.
CHARACTER BREAKDOWNS:
CHRISTOPHER (Caucasian, Male, 16-17) Pretty boy with a rugged edge. A bit of a brooder, but very likable. Not angry. Long hair is a bonus.
DAVID (Caucasian, Male, 13-15) A braniac, sharp as a tack, great comedic timing. You can’t help but love him.
MAHLER (Caucsasian, Male, 37-47) Tall, rugged, strong, attitude. A Southern boy BUT WITHOUT A HEAVY ACCENT! He likes to fish, hunt, chew, and he’s a good guy, but with a dark side. His best friend, Jonathan, is who he looks out for. Built is a bonus. Short, nearly military cut is likely. No facial hair.
REDDICK (Caucasian, Male, 33-40) Rugged, in great shape, likely the only “Northerner” in the bunch but WITHOUT A HEAVY ACCENT. He’s the strong/silent type. Doesn’t take shit. Loner. Short hair likely. No facial hair. Comfortable with guns, etc.
LONG (Open Ethnicity – Black, White, or Indian, Male, 40-50) Safe ,professional, therapist, introspective, but a pansy. Good eyes with strong contact key.
DAPHNE (Caucasian, Female, Lighter Hair. 65-ish) Bouncy, pretty, perky, smart, sensitive. Strong mother type.
STUART (Caucasian, Male, 65-ish) Handsome. Gray haired. Smart/sharp. Kind eyes. Big heart. Lovely persona. But not a pushover. Church deacon. Grandfather.
FRANKLIN (Caucasian, Male, 55-65) Deacon. Nice guy.
JERRY (Caucasian, Male, 50-60) Deacon, Nice guy.
RUSSELL (Caucasian, Male, 45-50) Deacon. Nice guy.
CLARE (Open Ethnicity – Black, White, Hispanic, Female, 35-40) Nice smile, pleasant church secretary
DAN BROWN (Caucasian, Male, 40-50) Mechanic.
Dr. BLAIR (Caucasian, Male, 40-ish) Handsome Dr. type.
KYM (Caucasian, Female, 16) Cute as all, sweet eyes, tenderness about her, innocent, pretty.
JAMES (Caucasian, Male, 16-18) Handsome, scraggly haired, average guy, athletic, guy-next-door, smart-ass is good.
DANNY MORALES (Hispanic preferably but Open, Male, 30-40) Smart, Handsome, one of the good guys who care.
HOTEL MANAGER (Open Ethnicity. Male. 30-50) Attractive. Charismatic.
