Dania Mehmod

Dania was born in Jordan, and later on attended the British International School in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This was a great experience for her as she has been brought up in a diverse environment. From the ages of 4-12 years, she took part in many school productions. This included Mary poppins, Footloose and Snow White. At the age of 12, Dania was awarded the highest score for her own monologue covering the topics of self-harm and eating disorders. Unfortunately, as she entered high school, there were no more acting opportunities. This is why she decided to focus on dance for the meantime. In 2018, she moved to the U.K. to study Psychology at the University of Warwick. Since then, she has continued to implement a lot of emotion in her dance pieces. This includes a lot of acting; using facial expressions to match the story and energy in her dance. She was always praised by her teachers for being one of the best to express emotions, even resulting in them asking her to help teach the rest of her classmates. Dania now aims to implement what she has learnt into more professional acting roles.
