Watch this CNN reporter arrested live on Television

Ivan Watson, a correspondent for CNN was reporting live from Istanbul, Turkey and discussing the heavy police presence on the one-year anniversary of the Taksim Square protests, when he was arrested by authorities on live television.

Police can be seen demanding Ivan Watson’s passport and asking him if he’s a journalist. The footage then cuts out, leaving viewers wondering what happened.

Watson and the CNN news team were later released about a half hour later, as he told the world via Twitter.
