The upcoming NWA biopic is currently ramping up production in Los Angeles and casting directors are seeking extras to appear in the movie.
After five years, several writers, and a picky group of writers, Universal’s N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton is finally being made.
There were several open casting calls in Los Angeles, Chicago, Altanta and in New York. Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio has found actors to tackle the roles of Ice Cube, Dr. Drea and the late Eazy-E.
It is interesting to note that all of the actors had to be approved by the parties they were representing.
Now casting directors are seeking African American men and women to work as extras, stand-ins and featured roles in the upcoming movie filming in Los Angeles, California.
Sande Alessi Casting is looking to replicate Los Angeles neighborhoods like Compton.
