Netflix ‘Sense 8’ is currently seeking extras to work on the new series filming in Chicago.
The new series is collaborated withBabylon 5‘s J. Michael Stracynski. According to TV Line, Sense8 will focus on eight characters from across the world, all connected by a very violent vision.
Each episode — shot in the UK, Seoul, Mumbai, Nairobi, Berlin, Mexico City, San Francisco and Chicago — will follow the characters’ separate stories, even as one entity tries to bring the octet together and another tries to kill them.
The eight dreams include “a closeted Mexican telenovela hunk, an Icelandic party girl, a German safe-cracker, a Korean businesswoman, an African bus driver and a transgender American blogger.”
A vision will most likely connect these characters. According to Io9, there are two visionaries who try to connect all of these people together. “The two sound like the yin and yang to this “vision.” One character is named Jonas, an African-American character who is allegedly the good guy. And his evil counterpart is named “Mr. Whispers.” One of them wants to unite the eight dreamers, the other wants to destroy them.”
Atmosphere Casting is looking for people to play police and medical personnel.

SENSE8 UPDATE: TUES 7/1
As promised, here is the SENSE8 availability form. We will be doing availability in blocks of 8 days to cover the shoot. This first form covers shoot days #1-8, July 10-21st.
We will post subsequent forms as we progress through the schedule.
This first block will need POLICE and MEDICAL personnel. Police on the 10th/11th, MEDICAL on 15th/16th/17th.

In this second round of availability, we will need GANG MEMBERS and PRISONERS on the 22nd, 23rd and 25th. DOCTORS AND NURSES on July 23rd. These dates are still TBD and may change.
