‘American Pastoral’ Casting Call for New Talent in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Casting directors are now casting new talent to appear in the new movie American Pastoral filming in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Producers are looking for Caucasian extras ages 51 to 68 on Thursday, November 5th and Friday, November 6th.
‘American Pastoral’ is based on the Pulitzer Prize winning novel by Phillip Roth. ‘American Pastoral’ centers around Seymour “Swede” Levov, a legendary high school athlete who grows up to marry a former beauty queen and inherits his father’s business.
His perfect life shatters when his daughter rebels by becoming a revolutionary and committing a deadly act of political terrorism during the Vietnam War.

Who’s Needed:
-Caucasian extras ages 51-68 to work Thursday, November 5th and Friday, November 6th. We will need some people to work both days. Pay is minimum wage for the first 8 hours and time and a half after that. Must be available from early morning until the following morning as calltimes have not been determined yet. Anyone who is booked will need to attend a wardrobe fitting since this scene takes place in the 90s.
