ABC is now casting extras for Dirty Dancing to work on a hotel scene.
ABC’s Dirty Dancing is looking for men and women to work on scenes filming between Monday May 9th through Friday, May 13th in Cashiers, North Carolina. Casting directors are looking for talent to play hotel guests and staff.
About Dirty Dancing:
The new ‘Dirty Dancing’ remake will be a three-episode TV miniseries on ABC. The TV miniseries will feature a “night of singing and dancing as we update the classic film ‘Dirty Dancing’ as a three-hour event.” According to our previous report, Dirty Dancing will will create 1,225 jobs in North Carolina including 900 extras, 30 cast members and 225 “crew/full time” jobs.

Should be from or within easy short driving distance to Cashiers.
Call time could be very early and filming can go very late. An average filming day can easily be 12 hours +.
Pay Rate is $ 64 total for first 8 hours or less. Time and Half after 8 hours. If you work 12 hours that is approx $112. for the day.
