Date:

reveals he is working on a new Friday .

Apparently he's already talked to New Line Cinema about making Last Friday, but only if he “can do it right.” And for many , doing it “right” would mean finding a way to bring Chris Tucker back to the franchise.

In case you do not know, Friday was written by Ice Cube and DJ Pooh and directed by F. Gary Gray in 1995. It became an instant classic and earned $30 million at the from a budget of only $3 million.

The movie's two sequels, Next Friday, which came out in 2000, and the horribly titled Friday After Next, which was released in 2002, didn't up to the first movie's expectations.

In addition, Ice Cube used Twitter to let others know that the supposed Friday remake starring his son O'Shea Jackson Jr. that was going viral on was actually an hoax.
