Here’s what Tommy Wiseau wanted to say during the Golden Globes.
James Franco went viral after Franco stopped Tommy Wiseau from grabbing the mic during his acceptance speech, with some bashing Franco for not allowing the subject of The Disaster Artist to say something.
Tommy Wiseau wanted to share a message of love before he was stopped from going to the microphone when Franco won a Golden Globe for his performance in The Disaster Artist.
Franco, who won best actor in a motion picture musical or comedy, plays Wiseau in the film about the making of The Room.
In the movie The Disaster Artist, Wiseau is depicted as an off-the-wall character, so when he tried to get to the mic when he was invited u pon stage by Franco during his acceptance speech, he was stopped by Franco.
It appears we now know what he was going to say. Wiseau tweeted from his Twitter account, “If a lot of people love each other the world will be a better place to live!”
He later confirmed to The L.A. Times that is what he was planning to say onstage.
