Netflix’s Vikings: Valhalla‘ (TV Series) Cast, Casting Calls, Auditions, and news you should know.
Vikings: Valhalla is an upcoming historical action-fiction drama TV series, created by screenwriter Jeb Stuart and will be a spin-ff from History’s Vikings. The TV series takes place 100 years after the original TV series and will revisit stories from some of the most popular Norsemen including Leif Erikson, Freydís Eiríksdóttir, Harald Hardrada and the Norman King William the Conqueror (a Viking descendant).
The show is set a century after the adventures of History’s Vikings, which is the end of the Viking Age. After the death of King Edward the Confessor, three lords attempt to claim the English throne, which changes the future of England forever. Leif Erikson has led a ship of Greenlanders across North. While he is loyal to his family, he has trouble with his father, Erik the Red.
Freydís Eiríksdóttir is Leif Erikson’s half-sister and after a sexual assault by a group of Christian Vikings makes her violently anti-Christian, she becomes the leader and defender of the Old Norse religion against the rising wave of Christianity, which is engulfing Scandinavia.
Freydís Eiríksdóttir is romantically drawn into a relationship with Torsen, a well-spoken Christian Viking from a Royal family. He has just outlasted the St. Brice’s Day massacre, the attempted genocide of Scandinavians commanded by King Æthelred the Unready. Torsen is part of a force that is being gathered by King Harald Hardrada to revenge the killing. He is led by Alienor, his wise queen, and Earl Colby, an aspiring Anglo-Saxon counselor.

These men and women will blaze new paths as they fight for survival in an ever-changing and evolving Europe. This is the explosive next chapter of the Vikings legend.”
