Emmy Award Winners List 2020
The 72nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards was virtually hosted by Jimmy Kimmel for the first time ever due to the Coronavirus COVID-19 Pandemic. This year’s big winners include Euphoria star Zendaya, who became the youngest lead actress drama winner for her role as Rue. Meanwhile, Watchmen’s Regina King won their fourth Emmy each.

72nd Primetime Emmy Award Nominations were announced on Tuesday. The virtual announcement was led by Leslie Jones (SNL), Laverne Cox (Orange Is the New Black), Josh Gad (Frozen) and Tatiana Maslany (Perry Mason).
HBO’s ‘Watchmen’ dominated with 26 total nominations including for Outstanding Limited Series and actors Regina King and Jeremy Irons.
Meanwhile, Amazon’s ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ reached second with 20 total nominations, followed by Netflix’s ‘Ozark’ and HBO’s ‘Succession’, which had 18 total nominations.
The top 5 productions had casting calls shared on Project Casting.
Netflix had the most total nominations with 160. Disney_ reached 19 nominations, Apple TV had 18 nominations and Quibi had 10.
This year’s ceremony will take place on September 20th on ABC and will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
