Artist Bio For over a decade, music has been integral in the life of hip-hop artist Huncho. The Columbus, Georgia native began freestyle rapping for fun as a young teen. Growing up, he was also afforded the opportunity to compose and produce his own music, as well as music for others, as his stepfather owned a recording studio. The studio is where Huncho often spent time to develop is craft. Huncho describes his sound versatile as he has the ability to present a variety of genres, beats, and rhythms in his music. Huncho is thought of as a poet by some as much of his music tells a real-life story. He cites J. Cole and Young Dolph as some of his major musical influences. Over the years, Huncho has been consistent in creating music. However, his musical journey has not always been easy. Life’s challenges along with personal hardships haven’t made his journey the most ideal path, but knowing that hip-hop is his passion and being determined to stay strong in the music industry has sustained the sought-after artist. Since making his mark in music, Huncho is particularly proud of the success of the visuals that accompanies his singles, which have garnered thousands of views. Huncho’s hard work and dedication to his craft resulted in the release of his debut album, Quarantine Huncho, which was released in early 2021. The 15-track project is a representation of his artistry, versatility, and ability to complete a full-length album during trying times brought on by a pandemic. His goal is to continue to create and produce music and to someday help others pursue their goals in the industry that he has a passion for.
