About Universal Orlando Resort:

Universal Studios Orlando Resort is a magical place for anyone.

Located on the beautiful coasts of the United States, Universal Studios Florida is one of three famous theme parks owned by NBCUniversal. Universal Studios offers entertainment and fun for everyone in your family or group of friends who visit.

Universal Studios opened its doors to the public on September 7, 1990, as a theme park inspired by American film and television culture. Universal Studios was created as a joint venture between NBC, CBS, the Tishman Realty and Construction Corporation, and celebrated its grand opening with 30 million people watching its major attractions on live TV from around the world. Today Universal Studios is one of the top tourist destinations in South Orlando for people of all ages.

Universal Studios Orlando Resort offers many exciting attractions, both indoors and outdoors so that guests can enjoy their stay at the park for any amount of time. Universal Studios has 26 shows throughout the day with different themes, fun music, loudspeakers blasting catchy lyrics, and bright colorful stages – some even have live dancers on stage during the show. The shows are located throughout the park in different ‘lands’ so you don’t have to worry about missing out on any of them during your day at Universal Studios Orlando Resort.

Universal Studios also offers several themed dining options for people to enjoy while they eat, many of which have unique styles – similar to character-themed restaurants. Universal Studios offers award-winning dining experiences for guests to enjoy while they are looking down the sights of their favorite attractions. From quick-service restaurants to full-service sit-down meals, there is sure to be something that would fit anyone’s interests or dietary restrictions.

Universal Studios has 27 different rides and attractions for all guests attending – each of which can be found in a different ‘land’. The rides and attractions range from family-friendly shows to intense roller coasters. There’s an attraction for everyone, no matter what age group you fall under.

Universal Studios offers special events and activities throughout the year which keep guests coming back again and again – the classic Universal Horror Film Festival is one of the park’s most popular events, drawing in a huge crowd every year. The Universal Horror Film Fest is a full day event that takes place on select Saturdays and Sundays from September through November each year, which includes special movie screenings of horror films from the 1920s-1960s at Universal Studios’ Premiere Theatre.
