The Korean actor who starred in ‘The Squid Game,’ Jung Ho-Yeon has signed on to star in Cuarón’s new Apple TV+ thriller series’ Disclaimer.’
Jung Ho-Yeon, star of the award-winning ‘Squid Game,’ has been confirmed for the cast of Alfonso Cuarón’s Apple TV+ thriller series Disclaimer.
According to sources, the South Korean actress and model will take on the part of Kim, an “ambitious, hardworking, and eager-to-please” character. Who knows that she will get her ‘break’ when she works for Catherine Ravenscroft, the successful and well-respected TV documentary journalist. Who worked on exposing the hidden wrongdoings of long-respected institutions is played by Cate Blanchett.
Blanchett, Kevin Kline, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Kodi Smit-McPhee are among the already-announced cast members, and Jung Ho-Yeon is one of them. The drama is based on Renee Knight’s book of the same name; it follows Catherine Ravenscroft. Whose discovers a novel by a widower (Kline) on her bedside table, and she realizes she is a central character in an old story she had hoped to put behind her.
