The leading streaming service announced in March 2022 the acquisition of yet another film starring some of Hollywood’s elite. This time, it’s the action-packed “Our Man from Jersey,” which has been described as “a blue-collar James Bond.” The movie began filming in March 2022, starring no less than Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry.

The producers have kept mum on much of the details, but here’s a rundown of what we know so far:

The trailer hasn’t been released, but here’s a short snap of Mark Wahlberg in April 2022, arriving in the London filming location.
What’s the story?
The movie is set in New Jersey during Hurricane Sandy, where an agent (Wahlberg) must team up with a female Treasury Agent (Berry); together, they try to track down some criminals wreaking havoc across America’s East Coast.
When can we watch it?
Netflix hasn’t set a release date for “Our Man From Jersey” yet, but with production starting in March 2022 and given how long it takes to film movies like this one (over six months), we wouldn’t expect it out any time soon. From past projects, we’d bet on a 2023 premier.
What’s the production status?
Production Weekly revealed that Netflix’s ‘Our Man From Jersey’ was planned for a March 2022 shooting date. They will be filming primarily in New Jersey and London, and other locations, including Philadelphia. Since then, we’ve learned about an additional four weeks of shooting starting on April 19th.
Who’s directing it?
With Director Julian Farino onboard, Netflix’s upcoming production of “Our Man From Jersey” should be an exciting watch. The streamer has worked with him previously on projects like “Giri/Haji” and “Florida Man”- in 2018 alone. How’s that for a vote of confidence? He also did HBO’s “Ballers” and “Entourage” for those who remember free cable TV without Netflix.
Who’s in it?
Netflix has announced that Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry will lead the cast of “Our Man From Jersey.”
The rest of the cast includes J.K. Simmons, Jackie Earle Haley, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jessica De Gouw, Alice Lee, Liam Edwards, and Claire Ashton.
