Tess Cameron
About:
Tess Cameron is a current student at Atlantic Acting School's evening conservatory. She is an actor, comedian, writer, storyteller, artist, and proud geek. A 2020 graduate of the University of Chicago (double B.A. Theatre and English), she has done artistic and dramaturgical work for various Chicago theatres including Hyde Park Players, Accidental Shakespeare Co., A Red Orchid Theatre, MPAACT, The Court Theatre, and many productions with University Theatre at UChicago. Chicago is also where she began her career in standup and improv comedy (Comedy Bar Chicago, UChicago Commedia, improv training by Susan Messing of iO), and has since gone on to work in the events department of the National Comedy Center. Following her recent work in Salt Lake City (MAB productions' ALL IN THE FAMILY), Tess is currently based in the NYC area, but still often performs alongside her Chicago-based identical twin sister and lifelong collaborator, Hope Campbell-- also her co-author on TAKE ME DANCING (winner, 2016 Sherwood Collins Playwriting Award).
