Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt to star in ‘The Fall Guy.’
As the name suggests, this series was inspired by the 1980s classic. The cast of David Leitch’s upcoming film The Fall Guy continues to grow, with Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling the latest stars to join the project. Based on the ’80s TV series of the same name, The Fall Guy will tell the story of a Hollywood stuntman (played by Lee Majors in the original show) who gets caught up in a world of crime.

He also went bounty hunting on the side to make ends meet, and the program followed his escapades alongside Douglas Barr and stunt actor colleague Heather Thomas. Gosling and Guymon Casady will produce, while Leitch will handle directing with writer and executive producer Drew Pearce, with who they previously collaborated on Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. With all this in mind, it’s easy to see why the trailer has already created quite a stir among fans.
Production will start in Australia later this year, and the film will be released in theaters on March 1, 2024.
