About:
Rakael Howard started her acting career in Philadelphia Pa. at the Black Theater Festival at the age of 7, starring in original plays such as The Haven, and Broadway Babies. At the age of 12 she went on to continue her acting passion is Baltimore, Md with Cockpit in Court at CCBC. Rakael continued to sprout her thespian wings in high school and starred and co starred in productions such as, Mama Morton in Chicago, Clytemnestra in Iphigenia in Aulis which gave her a Cappie nomination, and numerous roles in The Laramie Project which she also went to perform in Edinburgh, Scotland's Fringe Festival. Since graduating from High school she has continued to work with groundbreaking theater companies such as Arena Players God's Trombones (chorus), Salt Luck Arts Oraculus (dancer), and the Heritage Players Urinetown (SoupySue). She has since continued her career with appearances on BET's Criminals at Work and a web series Harry and Shiba. Rakael's last role in theater was with The Stagecrafters Theatre in Philadelphia, in the production White Guy On the Bus. Where she played the principle role Shatique and is overjoyed to be working as an actor on screen, and theater.
