Rae’lyn DeSoto

Rae'lyn has an amazing personality and the kindest soul. She is completely selfless, very mature for her age, charismatic and clever. Rae'lyn loves spending time with her family, is great with all of her younger family members and strives for the best grades. She has amazing leadership skills, and is a great team player. Rae'lyn has been practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing for several years. She currently holds a Yellow Senior belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Although she took a break due to time constraints to pursue other interests such as cheerleading, she has started training again regularly for the past 6 months. She has competed in several Jiu-Jitsu tournaments in the past, and hopes to once again secure a state championship in the near future. Rae'lyn is very technical in her training, and helps teach classes of younger kids that attend her Academy. Rae'lyn was a stunt flyer for her cheerleading squads. She perfected moves such as the Basket Toss, Full-Up, Ball to Point, Staircase, Arabesque, Cradle Dismount, Half/Prep, Elevator, Heel Stretch – Prep & Liberty – Prep. In 2020, she was one of four cheerleaders chosen from her school's cheer team to become an All American Cheerleader. She was judged on her phenomenal ability to execute cheers, chants and jumps. She was also invited to be a cheerleader extra in the 2021 movie "Palmer" starring Justin Timberlake, directed by Fisher Stevens. Rae'lyn has performed in several school plays as part of their talented drama programs, and was chosen to emcee several school functions for her confidence and public speaking skills. Rae'lyn also played the flute in her schools' bands for several years. She has taken beginner Spanish classes as part of her high school career, and is willing and eager to learn any other skills and/or languages necessary to fill any role fitting of her.
