Boss is a political drama TV series created by Farhad Safinia. Boss centers Tom Kane, the mayor of Chicago who has been diagnosed with a degenerative neurological disorder. Despite, the disorder, Tom Kane is determined to remain in charge and conceals the disease from everyone except his own physician. Those around him are too busy with their own lives to notice the differences.
Boss has received a decent amount in ratings with 1.7 million viewers and received two nominations for the 69th Golden Globe Awards. Boss features Kelsey Grammer, Connie Nielsen, Martin Donovan, Kathleen Robertson, and Hannah Ware, in association with Category 5 Entertainment, Grammnet Productions, and Lionsgate Television.
