Big Time Rush (BTR) is a TV series created by Scott Fellows . Big Time Rush follows the lives of four hockey players form Minnesotta after they are selected to create a boy band. The first episode aired on November 28, 2009 and their first episode had earned 6.8 million viewers, making Big Time Rush the highest rated live action series to ever debut on Nickelodeon. Big Time Rush was recently renewed and is scheduled to begin in early 2013.
Big Time Rush features Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena Jr., Logan Henderson, Ciara Bravo, Stephen Kramer Glickman, and Tanya Chisholm. Big Time Rush is produced with Jed Spingarn, Joanne Toll, Lazar Saric, and Debra Spidell, in association with Jack Mackie Pictures, Sony Music Entertainment and Nickelodeon Productions.
