The Oprah Winfrey Network also known as (OWN), named after talk show presenter Oprah Winfrey, is a speciality programming channel created by Harpo Productions and Discovery Communications. Since, the OWN’s network debut it has reached well over 80 million homes, and is growing, replacing the previous Discovery Health Channel.
The programming on Oprah Winfrey Network include original programs, strips, specials, documentaries, and acquired movies.

New Docu-Series TV Show Casting Call
Do you have dreams of a career in the beauty industry? Is there a hair stylist or make up artist inside of you yearning to ocme out? Are you planning to enroll in beauty school? Oprah Winfrey Network, OWN, is documenting the experiences of students, 18 years or older, working toward a cosemetology license at a Houston beauty school. Students will be responsible for tuition. Financial aid will be available to those who qualify.
