Southwest Casting is helping cast a commercial for Joe’s Crab Shack. Please read this casting notice carefully.
“Joe’s Crab Shack” is a chain of beach themed restaurants owned by Ignite Restraunt Group. “Joe’s Crab Shack” was founded in Houston, Texas and now operates in neighborhoods across the United States. “Joe’s Crab Shack” serves seafood and American cuisine. The restraunts also have a gift shop that sells amazing T-shirts advertising Joe’s seafood choices.”
“Joe’s Crab Shack” opened its first location in Houston, Texas in 1991. Today the brand includes a national chain of 120 restaurants in 28 states featuring a festive, but laid-back atmosphere. Many of the locations are on waterfront property with large patio seating areas, built to resemble an old beachfront property. POSSIBLE CALLBACKS ARE FRIDAY JANUARY 18.
SHOOT DATES ARE JAN 22-23-24 IN GALVESTON. Selected talent will only work one of those days, not all.
THERE IS PAY. Union job. We can see both union and non-union talent.
USAGE: Cable (national) and internet.
CONFLICTS: Casual dining restaurants
We are looking for REAL FAMILIES and REAL GROUPS OF FRIENDS. We are not assembling “fake” families or friends for this spot.
We would like to see:
- 1. Families (parents in their 40s) with kids, even cousins and grandparents. No limit on size of the family and extended family. It is okay if there is an actor in the family, as long as you are a real family. Open to all ethnicities. Not overly attractive; even some of the weirder, quirkier personalities. Must enjoy seafood!!
- 2. Group of friends in their mid 20s, people who will goof off and have a real comfort with each other. Open to all ethnicities. REAL friends, we will not assemble a group of pretend friends. If you have cooking experience – like boiling lobsters – that is a bonus! Again, must enjoy seafood!
