Atlanta, GA Casting Call
Casting directors are now seeking actors for the upcoming feature film “Good Lie” in Atlanta, GA.
“Good Lie” centers on the story of a young refugee of the Sudanese Civil War who ends up winning a lottery for relocation to the United States along with three other lost boys. After encountering the new world of America, they develop an unlikely frienship with a brash American woman who is assigned to assit them. But, the young man struggles to adjust to his new life and feelings of guilt about the brother he left behind.
According to Deadline, Reese Witherspoon is currently in talks to star in “The Good Lie”. “The Good Lie” will be directed by Philippe Falrdeau and the screenplay was developed by Margaret Nagle. Also, “The Good Lie” will be produced by Molly Smith from the award winning feature film, “The Bilnd Side”. Molly Smith recently formed a new production and financing company, Black Lable Media and Along with Black Label Media partners, Imagine’s Brain Grazer, Ron Howard, and karen Kehela Sherwood are scheduled to produce this upcoming motion picture.
