Marty Siu Casting is currently casting for the upcoming feature film “The World Made Straight”.
The World Made Straight is an adaptation of the Ron Rash novel by the same name to be directed byDavid Burris and produced by Todd Labarowsky (THR). The World Made Straight takes place during the 1970s Western North Carolina. It centers on a young man finds a grove of marijuana, and uses this as an opportunity to make some extra money. But, he ends up stepping into the jaws of a bear trap. He is later discovered by a farmer who set the trap to protect his plants.centers on a rural Appalachian community haunted by the legacy of a Civil War massacre, a rebellious young man struggles to escape the violence that would bind him to the past (IMDB).
THE WORLD MADE STRAIGHT (TWMS): A low budget feature film (with a great cast!) shooting in Asheville, mid-March – late April. I’m now casting stand-ins & photo doubles for the following actors:
