Fox is now taking submissions for their third Fox Writers Intensive, a fellowship designed to nurture experienced writers and create a network of potential talent for Fox productions.
Those who make it into the program will partake in a four-month curriculum administered by non-profit arts org Film Independent, and selected writers will attend “masters classes” to receive detailed feedback on their scripts.
At the end, one Fwi finalist will be named the 2014 Fwi fellow. This winner will be offered a purchase and development deal on their original script, a widespread announcement and one-on-one creative meetings with network and other Fox entertainment business heads. One finalist will also be selected to pitch their original script to HaperCollins, and all finalists will receive staffing meetings for Fox series.
The winner of this summer’s session, Yule Caise, has a deal with FX Networks and will pitch an original script to FX Networks.
