Los Angeles Casting directors are currently seeking background extras to work on HBO’s TV series, “Veep”.
HBO recently renewed the hit TV series, Veep for a third season and now they are looking for background extras.
HBO has renewed comedy series Veep for a 10-episode third season, which will air next year. The pickup comes on the heels of the Washington DC-set comedy hitting a season high in total viewers this past Sunday, drawing 1.3 million viewers, up from 1.1 million on April 21 and 1.2 million for the season debut April 14.
HBO’s VEEP was created by Armando Iannucci, Veep stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Vice President Selina Meyer, a role which earned her an Emmy last year.
The ensemble cast includes Tony Hale as Gary, the Vice President’s right-hand man; Anna Chlumsky as Amy, her chief of staff; Reid Scott as Dan, an ambitious political aide; Matt Walsh as Mike, the VP’s weathered spokesperson; Timothy C. Simons as Jonah, an enterprising but annoying White House liaison; Sufe Bradshaw as Sue, Meyers’ executive assistant; and Kevin Dunn as Ben, the president’s chief of staff.
Dunn, who started off as a recurring in Season 2, was recently upped to regular.
