Producers for an upcoming FOX TV Pilot ‘The Red Band Society’ is currently casting talent in Atlanta, Georgia.
Cynthia Stillwell Casting is currently seeking actors to work as stand-ins and extras in the upcoming ABC Studios and Dreamworks pilot ‘The Red Band Society’. Filming is scheduled to begin this March 10th and run through March 26.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, “The Help‘s Octavia Spencer has been tapped to star in the network’s remake of acclaimed Spanish series Red Band Society.”
Red Band Society is a dark dramedy that centers on the daily lives of a group of teenagers living in a hospital who become unlikely friends. The depth of the unexpected friendships allows them to survive the challenges of growing up under such intense circumstances.
Margaret Nagle, will write the script and executive produce the project alongside Steven Spielberg, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank and Sergio Aguero. Fox picked up Red Band Society with a script commitment in Novemeber and later announced in January that they are moving forward with the project.
