Want to Work with an Oscar Winning Writer? ABC’s ‘American Crime’ is Casting

ABC ‘American Crime’ Television pilot is still casting actors to work in the new production filming in Austin, Texas.

On Location casting is currently looking for actors to portray background extras in a hotel scene in the new television series for ABC.

The series is written and executive produced by Oscar Winning Screenplay writer John Ridley.

American Crime centers on a racially charged murder the subsequent trial, which are examined through the personal lives of the people involved in the crime.

Filming is scheduled for Friday, March 14th and Monday March 17th.

AUSTIN, TX Casting Notice – ABC Television Pilot “American Crime” for work on FRIDAY 3/14/14 and MONDAY 3/17/14.

***NEW FACES WHO HAVE NOT YET WORKED ON THIS PROJECT***

Pay rate is $58.00 for 8 hours ($7.25/hr) plus overtime paid after 8 hours (if necessary).

MUST have proof of Texas Residency in the form of a Texas Driver’s License or ID, Texas College ID or Texas Voter’s Registration Card.

We obviously do NOT have Call Times yet so it could be a VERY early morning start and/or could possibly shoot late into the evening/night. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times ends up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!

Location is in the AUSTIN,TX area.

*EXTRAS* – Works 3/14/14
HOTEL CUSTOMERS/GUESTS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 21-65, clean cut, conservative.

HOTEL WAITRESSES/HOSTESS: Female, all ethnicities, age range 18-30. Experienced preferred.

BUSBOY: Male, Hispanic, age range 18-35. Experience Preferred.

HOUSEKEEPER: Female, Hispanic, age range 25-50. Experience Preferred.

HOTEL STAFF: Male and Female, all ethnicites, age range 20-50. Experience Preferred.

CABBIE: Male, all ethnicities, age range 30-55, comfortable unloading luggage and driving if needed.

RESTAURANT CUSTOMERS: Male and Female, all etnicities, age range 18-65

BUSBOY: Male, Hispanic, age range 18-35. Experience preferred.

BARTENDER: Male, all ethnicities, age range 21-35. Experience preferred.

KIDS: Male and Female, All ethnicites, age range 7-13

ELECTRONIC STORE CUSTOMERS: Male and Female, All ethnicities, age range 18-55

POLICE OFFICERS/SHERIFFS: Male and Female, all ethnicities, age range 21-60. Must have prior police or military experience. You may need to come in for a fitting on Friday 3/14/14!
