Nicholas Sparks’ ‘The Longest Ride’ Casting Call in Wilmington, North Carolina
Nicholas Sparks, most known for writing The Notebook is turning his latest book into a movie.
Based on the Nicholas Sparks novel, “The Longest Ride” centers on two sets of lovers in two intertwining stories. The first story is told through flashbacks of a 90-year-old veteran’s life and the love he has for his departed wife. The second story follows a student who falls in love with a similarly-wounded bull rider.
Casting directors are looking for extras, cars, people to play valet car drivers, and art gallery members for a scene filming on Monday, July 21st.

THE LONGEST RIDE: Our scenes for Monday have changed. For this Monday, July 21st we now need the following:
- 4 general background (1960s)
- 5 background with cars (modern day)
- 2 Valets (modern day)
- 14 ART GALLERY (from previous art gallery scenes-modern day)
- 6 ART GALLERY WITH HIGH END CARS (from previous art gallery scenes-modern day)

Location: Wilmington, N.C. Pay rate $64/8 + car bumps of $25.00 if driving in scene, $15.00 if parked in scene.
