“What If” movie premiere forced to shut down after Daniel Radcliffe fans arrive.
Mexico City was forced to shut down the “What If” movie premiere event after tons of fans showed up.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Mexican distributor of the upcoming feature film “What If” had to cancel a red carpet event that was scheduled to feature Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter Series) due to crowd control problems.
Distributor Diamond Films Mexico said Mexico City’s civil protection agency ordered it to suspend the event, scheduled for a Mexico City shopping mall. The reason? An unexpectedly large number of fans who turned out to see Radcliffe prior to the event. [via]
